A different purpose for this domain
WebDesignCanada.org is an independent informational resource about building and maintaining better websites in a Canadian context. It is not a government website, standards body, certification service or legal-advice provider.
The site focuses on areas that affect website quality after the visual design is approved: content ownership, accessibility, performance, privacy, search structure, account ownership, hosting and maintenance.
Why the site changed
An earlier version mixed web-design promotion with unrelated business-directory and limousine content. That made the domain difficult to understand and reduced its usefulness. The current version removes those unrelated topics and gives the site one clear editorial purpose.
How case studies are selected
Some live examples are owned, managed or related projects. They are used to explain design and architecture decisions, and that relationship is disclosed so the examples are not mistaken for independent endorsements.
